Migration-edu for schools

Let’s bring up mindful generations

Since 2013, we have involved in our awareness campaigns throughout Italy more than 10,000 students and 190 teachers, in 46 educational institutions from primary schools to universities.

We are, indeed, convinced that it is only by beginning from the world of school and involving all its participants that we can create a culture of reception and integration in which linguistic, cultural, and religious differences may be considered as a wealth for, and not an obstacle to, the future.

In this view, consideration of the rights of refugees, based on data from field surveys, reports, photographic exhibitions, and first-hand accounts, becomes an incentive towards an intercultural school, open to an interdisciplinary approach based on innovative educational pathways.

Since 2019, to expand these activities even further, we have created the MigrAction-edu website (http://www.migrazioni-edu.it). This is an original tool for teaching about issues such as respect for human rights, migration, reception, protection, and integration of refugees and migrants. Educational guides, videos, textbooks, and statistical data are directly available on the Internet, free of charge, to facilitate access and use by teachers, students, and parents to develop educational programmes independently.

The platform is only avilable in italian language because is designed for the italian schools.
